The Kate Kennedy Apartment cottage Scotland
The Kate Kennedy Apartment is situated near the centre of the historic coastal town of St Andrews. This property sleeps five people in two bedrooms, one of which is a double and the other has a set of bunks with a pull-out bed. There is also a stylish shower room, a well-equipped kitchen and a sitting room. Outside you will find a private parking space to the rear of the property. Just a short stroll will take you to the centre of St Andrews, famed for its ancient university, stunning beaches and, as the home of golf, with St Andrews Links boasting over 600 years of pedigree and seven excellent courses. Whether practising your swing or relaxing on the beach, The Kate Kennedy Apartment is well-placed for a memorable break away at any time of year.
Situated in the north east corner of the Kingdom of Fife, St. Andrews is Scotland`s oldest university town and is well known for its varied landscape of gentle hills, windswept cliffs, rocky bays and sandy beaches on which scenes from the film `Chariots of Fire` were shot. Easily explored on foot, the town is spread around a main hub and consists of an interesting mix of buildings from 13th Century examples to those from the present day. The town offers a variety of shops and restaurants whilst golf enthusiasts will be well served by the `Old Course` – constructed in the 16th Century – and the modern venues of championship events and the five alternative public courses. The area is also home to an excellent Golf Museum. Within easy driving distance are the towns of Fife, Dundee, Perth and Edinburgh.
