Ysgybor Yd cottage Wales
Situated on the owners` thirty-acre sheep and cattle farm, this delightful stone-built, semi-detached barn conversion is just one and a half miles from the charming village of Chwilog and a mere three miles from the pretty seaside town of Criccieth. Combining character features with modern facilities, this property has been successfully converted to offer a welcoming and cosy retreat. Well-served by local amenities, this lovely little cottage is well placed for all of the fantastic activities that Wales has to offer.
This delightful seaside town, situated just five miles from Porthmadog, is often described as the `pearl of Wales on the shores of Snowdonia`. Dominating the skyline from its majestic position on a rocky outcrop, the town`s 13th Century castle offers superb views of Tremadog Bay and the Snowdonia mountains. There are two beaches close by, as well as a wealth of footpaths and cycle trails present in the beautiful Snowdonia National Park. Nature lovers will enjoy the excellent bird watching in the area as well as the chance to spot porpoises playing in the surf. For those who prefer the bustle of a town, Portmeirion`s offers various pubs, restaurants and tea-rooms, as well as Italianate gardens, the Ffestiniog railway in Porthmadog, Harlech Castle, Caernarfon Castle and the renowned golf courses of the Lleyn Peninsula.
