Allt y Mor cottage Wales
Location, location! This light, bright bungalow has superb views of the sea, the mountains and the Llyn Peninsula. And with private steps leading from the garden to the beach below, it has that special holiday magic! What joy and ease for an early morning swim and in the evening, you can take your favourite tipple down to the private stone bench and watch some spectacular sunsets.
"What a wonderful place to spend a holiday!"
Llandanwg itself is a small hamlet with a big heart. There`s a welcoming and friendly beach cafe, loos, a small medieval church (St Tanwg) in the dunes and known locally as the church in the sand and `Y Maes`, a lovely, large grassed area here where you can fly kites and play games. Walk the coastal footpath down to the estuary and beyond, or, simply relax on a well-placed bench. There is even a station for the scenic Cambrian Coast Railway!
Discover the nearby towns of Harlech, Barmouth, Porthmadog and the famous Italianate village of Portmeirion. Explore the stunning coastline, wonderful castles, mountains, lakes, woodlands, rivers and waterfalls of the Snowdonia National Park.
Whatever you choose to do on your holiday, from sandcastle building and rock-pooling to adrenaline activities such as gorge walking, this simple bungalow, relaxed and unpretentious, offers that special holiday experience where the sound and smell of the sea cannot fail to soothe the soul.
Situated in a magnificent position between the mountains and the sea, the delightful small town of Harlech is dominated by its majestic 13th century castle. Harlech Castle is recognised as the most impressive of all those built in North Wales by Edward I and has World Heritage status. The town is very popular with golfers, who come to enjoy the famous Royal St. Davids course, whilst the beautiful sandy beach is wonderful for family fun and long walks. Harlech offers an excellent variety of amenities including some good quality restaurants, whilst the whole of the Snowdonia National Park, together with the sandy beaches of Cardigan Bay, are all within easy reach.
