With breathtaking views over to Poole Harbour and the Isle of Wight this cottage is set on the edge of RSPB Arne a haven for wildlife watching. It boasts a stunning landscape ancient woodland and is home to all six of the UKs native reptile species. The historic village of Arne makes a perfect base for exploring the area with RSPB Stoborough Heath (4 miles) and Hartland Moor National Nature Reserve (3 miles) nearby. Wareham (4.5 miles) offers a choice of restaurants pubs and shops or you could visit the historic village of Corfe Castle (5.5 miles) and explore the remains of the medieval castle. A steam train runs from Corfe Castle to the thriving seaside town of Swanage (11.5 miles). Lulworth Cove (12.5 miles) and Studland (10.5 miles) are also within easy reach. Entering this former Victorian school house you can leave coats and boots in the porch and then head into the spacious and welcoming lounge. This is a charming space to relax in with TV/DVD wood burner parquet floor and French doors leading out onto the terrace. Moving through to the delightful kitchen/diner you will find a dining area perfect for sharing a family meal. The kitchen is equipped with an oven microwave dishwasher fridge freezer and washing machine with the dryer housed in the nearby utility room. There is also a ground-floor WC. Going upstairs you will find three comfortable and cosy bedrooms: a double room and two twin rooms. Both the twin rooms have sea views and one of them also features an en-suite bathroom with bath and WC. There is also a shower room with shower and WC. Stepping outside into the large back garden you can enjoy a morning coffee or a BBQ on the sea-facing terrace. Steps lead down to the rough sloping lawn. The garden is a nature lovers paradise with deer visiting almost daily at dusk it has even featured in BBCs Autumn Watch. There is also a field for playing games in. Parking is available on the village lane.
