Ideal for guests travelling both nationally and internationally Aberdeen airport is just a short drive away (transfers can be arranged directly) and Aberdeen city itself is less than 10 miles from the estate where many other attractions can be found. With foundations dating back to the 14th century this historic baronial mansion retains period features throughout with opulent furnishings and charming characteristics providing a truly unique stay. Guests benefit from a range of modern amenities with the luxury traveller in mind and are offered this property on a fully serviced basis. The charming property is set across three levels with a grand entrance and water fountain impressing from the outset. The opulent lobby with its marble fireplace and sparkling crystal chandeliers leads to each of the propertys social spaces. The dining room features a traditional open fire and large windows that showcase the sprawling estate views capable of seating up to 20. Guests will benefit from a full breakfast served every morning and a sumptuous four-course set dinner each evening tailored to specific individual requirements and sampling some of Scotlands finest cuisine (included in cost). Children are most welcome to stay too with tailored menus available for younger guests. A magnificent private whisky bar adjoins the dining room where guests can relax with a favourite tipple in hand amidst the beautiful oak cabinetry in one of the many comfortable armchairs. The bar will be staffed from 7 pm each evening during your stay with experts on hand to recommend fine wines whiskies and cocktails. Private butler service is also available to guests guaranteeing a truly unforgettable experience. The Lake Room is a comfortable lounge area with sumptuous sofas for guests to relax unwind and enjoy a cup of tea in the afternoon in front of the marble fireplace. The Beauty Retreat is found on the lower ground level accessed via the mansions private courtyard where guests can hire a masseuse and indulge in a range of relaxing and restorative treatments (additional charges apply). The remaining guestrooms are located on the propertys first floor.
