Guests can enjoy a day at the De La Warr Pavilion soaking up the local culture with the latest events and exhibitions or take a stroll to the local shops pubs and restaurants. For keen walkers and cyclists there are many routes along the coast or venture into the countryside and the nearby High Weald an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. For some more fantastic views along the coast head to nearby Hastings and take a trip up the East Hill funicular Englands steepest cliff railway or travel back in time with a visit to Hastings Castle and the Smugglers Caves. Head west to the elegant seaside town of Eastbourne for shopping restaurants theatre and Towner Art Gallery for contemporary art. Steps lead from the road up to the front of the property where you will enter the spacious hallway where you can store shoes and hang coats.
