You will be ideally situated just off the National Cycle Route 27 opposite the beautiful Abbeyford Woods close to the northern edge of Dartmoor National Park. The house is just a mile from the town of Okehampton where there are a number of shops takeaways and supermarkets as well as specialist stores that cater for Dartmoors walkers cyclists and climbers. The moor itself offers many miles of scenic walks for all abilities ranging from easy strolls through to challenging hikes and climbs. With great transport links nearby you will also be within a short drive of the stunning cathedral city of Exeter and within an easy reach of the popular tourist destinations of the south coast and the rugged beauty of the northern coastline. Other attractions and places of interest accessible from here include the Meldon Reservoir and Viaduct Lydford Gorge Roadford Lake Okehampton Castle the Miniature Pony Centre and numerous National Trust properties.
