Burnbank cottage Scotland
Burnbank is a well-appointed detached cottage resting in the village of Kilchoan in the Scottish Highlands. It plays host to three bedrooms; a double and two singles, the property can sleep four guests. There is also a ground floor bathroom and shower room, a kitchen/diner and a sitting room with a multi-fuel stove. Outside is an enclosed front lawn and an enclosed back yard along with off-road parking for 2 cars. Burnbank is a homely cottage in an interesting part of Scotland.
The village of Kilchoan is the most westerly village in mainland Britain, situated on the stunning Ardnamurchan Peninsula and surrounded by mountains and coastal views. The area close to Kilchoan offers a choice of beaches and an abundance of wildlife with eagles regularly spotted overhead. Until 1900 the village was only accessible by sea, but now access is via a single track road. The village has local services including a shop, pub, restaurant and community centre. From Mingary Pier there is a regular ferry service across the Sound of Mull to Tobermory which gives the opportunity to explore the islands of Mull and Iona.
