Close by is the pretty village of St Mellion and the Rame Peninsula with its beaches and places to eat and unwind. Just along the coast one can discover the traditional picture postcard resort towns of Looe and Polperro which are great for exploring. Other attractions in the area include St Austell the Lost Gardens of Heligan Mevagissey the Roseland Peninsula Anthony Monkey Sanctuary the Adrenalin Quarry Go Karting Porfell Wildlife Park the Eden Project and many National Trust properties.
