The harbour town of Campbeltown is within easy reach as is the pretty seaside village of Machrihanish home of the world-renowned Machrihanish Golf Course. The Kintyre Peninsula is known for its unspoilt beauty splendid white sandy beaches and spectacular wildlife superb golf courses historic castles and of course the local whisky. Nearby the Kintyre Way is a paradise for walkers and bikers to explore and water sports enthusiasts can enjoy the nearby Westport Beach known as one of the best surfing spots in Scotland. Or take boat trips and visit the magnificent islands of Gigha Arran Islay and Jura in this Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Step inside this historic castle with its splendid period features into the spacious reception hall the perfect place to store your outdoor clothing. Venturing through the hall you are first met with the grand dining room an ideal spot to enjoy family gatherings with a wine cooler and Bluetooth soundbar - and on those cooler evenings you can light the cosy open fire.
