Coney Garth Retreat cottage The Lake District and Cumbria
Coney Garth Retreat is a beautifully converted barn nestled in the heart of Beckermet, on the fringes of the Lake District National Park. Inside are two bedrooms; a double with en-suite shower room and another double with zip/link bed (can be twins on request), sleeping four altogether. There is also a ground floor bathroom, and a first floor open-plan living room with kitchen, dining area and sitting area. To the exterior is an enclosed garden at the rear with lawn, patio, furniture and hot tub. Enjoying fabulous farmland views of open fields, Coney Garth Retreat promises a memorable stay on the West Coast of Cumbria.
Beckermet is located just one mile from the West Coast and sits amongst Lakeland countryside. Relatively unknown to many Lakeland visitors, this area offers easy access to the towering peaks of Scafell Pike - England`s highest peak, as well as Scarfell, Great Gable, Hard Knott, Harter Fell and Muncaster Fell. Other local attractions include Muncaster Castle with its World Hawk and Owl Centre; the Ravenglass to Eskdale miniature railway, the famous Hardknot Pass with its Roman Fort, and the Georgian town of Whitehaven with its picturesque harbour.
