Located at the south west peninsula of Great Britain, Cornwall is as diverse a holiday destination as there can be. Steeped in mystery and folklore, such as the legends of King Arthur and tales of Cornish Witchcraft, be sure to take a trip to St Michaels Mount near Marazion and learn about the myths of giants long ago. From there head to Penzance in West Cornwall, to hear the legends of ghosts, pirates and smuggling.

Should less fabled and more factual sightseeing be desired, then there are medieval buildings and pre-historic remains in abundance the whole county through to satisfy the curiosity of young and old.

As is congruent with its character, Cornwall again shows its flexible nature by not only celebrating the past, but additionally embracing the present and inspiring future generations, by being home to the top visitor attraction, the Eden Project. Two biomes supporting different climates and housing plants from around the world not only displays forward thinking and concerns for the environment, but is also highly educational and a must for every family visiting the area.
