With traditional stone cottages and shops, clustered around the cobbled market place, Grassington is one of the most charming villages in the Yorkshire Dales National Park. Offering outstanding shopping facilities for a settlement of its size, this village hosts a monthly farmer`s market with a delicious range of organic and home-made local produce. This superb walking area is full of interesting natural features such as the River Wharfe and extensive Grass Woods which lay to the north of the village. Bolton Abbey with the Abbey ruins, the Priory and the famous "Strid Walk" is a short distance away, as is the elegant town of Ilkley, situated in the shadow of Ilkley Moor.
