1 Primitive Mews is a stone-built, semi-detached cottage in the Peak District village of Chelmorton. This cottage sleeps two people in one double bedroom, which also has an en-suite bathroom. The cottage also has a kitchen and a sitting room with dining area. Outside there is a gravelled area with furniture and barbecue and shared use of a children`s wooden play castle.1 Primitive Mews is an ideal romantic base for exploring the area.
The village of Chelmorton is situated in the heart of the Peak District National Park. The village boasts a village shop and pub which serves good food. Chelmorton has a fascinating historic landscape of `fossil` arable strips enclosed within drystone walls and the village has a lovely medieval church of St John the Baptist.
