1 The Riverside is a ground floor beautifully presented apartment adjacent to the 12th century ruins of Barnard Castle in County Durham. It plays host to two double bedrooms and a bathroom with bath, shower over, basin and WC. There is also an open-plan living space with a spacious kitchen and sitting room. Outside are lovely views over the river, a 10 minute walk into town for all the local amenities and roadside parking nearby. 1 The Riverside is a deluxe apartment in a very desirable part of the town.

The market town of Barnard Castle is situated in the countryside of Teesdale in County Durham. It stands on the site of an ancient Roman fort which crosses the river. The medieval ruins of the castle still tower over the river and are well worth a visit as is the nearby Bowes Museum. Walking country is right on the doorstep of this market town, with woodland walks, and cycle routes in the Lake District and the Yorkshire Dales and North Pennines with Teesdale Ways the River Tees and waterfalls at High Force are all within easy reach.
