Tintagel, home of King Arthur`s Castle, is a popular tourist destination in Cornwall. The area is dominated by sea, coves and scenery. Beaches including Trebarwith Strand and Bossiney Cove, are within reach and surfing is a big attraction here. Tintagel has pubs and restaurants and the NT Old Post Office. The SW Coast Path passes through the village, winding its way along the cliffs and to the water`s edge through the countryside. Boscastle is 2.5 miles north, with its quaint quay and pubs. Further afield are Newquay and Bude, with their resort attractions, while the open spaces of Bodmin Moor, the Eden Project, Padstow and the Camel Estuary are all within driving distance.
