Aboutime Cottage is a wonderful detached cottage situated in the village of Parkend, eleven miles from Monmouth in Gloucestershire. Set over three floors, this cottage sleeps ten people in five bedrooms, consisting of two ground-floor zip/link king-size king-size, one with en-suite, a ground-floor double with an en-suite, a ground-floor twin and a second-floor double with a balcony, along with a second-floor bathroom and a ground-floor bathroom. The cottage also has a first-floor kitchen with breakfast bar, a first-floor living/dining room with a games area, and an external utility room. Outside there`s off-road parking for four cars and an enclosed lawned garden with a decked area, furniture and bike storage. Aboutime Cottage is an ideal base for families with plenty of walks and cycle routes to explore in the area.
Parkend is a thriving village situated at the southern end of the Royal Forest of Dean offering two lovely pubs, a store, Post Office and a 19th century railway station, part of the Dean Forest Railway. Close by is the RSPB Nagshead Reserve, which is home to many rare woodland birds and offers interesting events for all ages throughout the year. The magnificent Royal Forest of Dean, England`s largest oak forest and an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, boasts numerous trails that can be explored on foot, by bike or on horseback.
