Set out on foot for a stroll through the open farmland to reach the nearby villages of Bradworthy and Kilkhampton which both offer pubs shops a Post Office and church. Walking shooting watersports and fishing can all be enjoyed at nearby Tamar Lakes which are only a 10 minute walk away. The North Devon and Cornwall coast is within easy reach and boasts a string of sandy beaches quaint fishing villages and sheltered coves. Hartland Abbey Tapeley Park and Rosemoor are all within a short drive and make for lovely days out all year round.
