A TRADITIONAL COTTAGE JUST A SHORT STROLL FROM THE QUAYSIDE
Situated in a terrace of houses in the centre of Appledore, this recently refurbished cottage, less than a minutes walk to the quayside, is perfect for a relaxing holiday.
The village is steeped in seafaring history and has a Maritime Museum, boat trips to Instow and fishing trips to enjoy. There is a range of shops, pubs, restaurants and galleries to sample as well as having lovely walks along the river or to Westward Ho! with its 2 miles of golden, sandy beach. There are many other attractions well worth a visit locally, including the market town of Bideford with its pannier market, The Big Sheep, Clovelly with its cobbled streets, National Trust's Arlington Court and much more. In the evenings, enjoy the adjacent park or have a BBQ in the patio garden.
The accommodation which is arranged over three floors offers THREE bedrooms: on the second floor is 1 twin. The first floor has 1 double and 1 twin.
Bathroom: family style, has bath with shower over bath and WC.
Lounge: on the ground floor with gas fire, TV and DVD. Dining room: with woodburner effect fire. Kitchen: well-equipped with cooker, fridge / freezer, dishwasher, washing machine and microwave.
Outside: accessed via the kitchen, at the rear, there is a terraced, enclosed patio garden with seating.
