Appledore is a real gem and once visited you will want to return watch the boats come and go sample the locally landed seafood or perhaps take a trip across to the neighbouring village of Instow either by car or in season a small passenger ferry can be found on the quayside. The Little White Town of Bideford with its narrow streets antique shops and choice of eateries is worth a look. For those who really want to get away from day-to-day life it is possible to take The Oldenburg from Bideford across to Lundy a three-mile long island in the Bristol Channel which is a haven for wildlife including puffins and grey seals. Guests enter this three-storey property on the second floor where there are two bedrooms and a bathroom. The first bedroom is a super-king-size zip-and-link (which can be made up as a twin on request) whilst the second is a bunk bedroom. The bathroom on this floor has a shower over bath and WC. An open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner occupies the first floor and to the rear of this room a Juliet balcony offers views down to the patio and out across Appledore and to the river beyond. These views can be enjoyed from the lounge areas comfortable sofas or alternatively you can watch the TV/DVD. A contemporary dining table separates the lounge area from the kitchen which is well-equipped with an electric oven and hob microwave fridge/freezer and dishwasher. Finally the ground floor is where guests will find the spacious master suite with its king-size bed and sitting area where you can relax and watch TV or listen to the retro record player and classic 80s collection of vinyl this room also has a dressing area with ample storage that leads to the en-suite shower room and WC this area also houses the washing machine. At the rear of this room there is a door that opens onto the propertys enclosed patio area. Heading outside there is a small patio area to the front of the property and to the rear an enclosed garden with patio and seating area which can be accessed from the ground floor as well as the master bedroom. The property has an allocated parking space for 1 car with additional roadside parking nearby subject to availability.
