This property is surrounded by beautiful farmland and is located only five miles from the Devon/Cornwall border. Guests are welcome to take walks though the ten-acre farmland which has well kept grass paths around the farm boundary river and lake. By prior arrangement children can collect the eggs from the free range hens and also feed the chickens. The North Devon coastline is a short drive away with its sandy beaches and rocky shorelines. Visitors can relax on the beach or walk the coastal path to enjoy beautiful sea views. The popular tourist locations of Hartland Quay and the pretty village of Clovelly are also nearby. Families can enjoy a day out at attractions such as The Milky Way The Big Sheep Tapeley Park and RHS Rosemoor Gardens. The property is approached by a gravel path and adjoins the owners farmhouse. The lounge area has a TV Blu-ray DVD Freeview and iPod docking station. A selection of DVDs and board games are also available. Heating is provided by a wood burner (first basket of logs included). The dining room has a table and seating for four people. The kitchen is accessible from the diner down four steep cottage style steps it is equipped with an electric oven and hob microwave dishwasher and fridge/freezer. The family size bathroom is located off the kitchen with shower over bath WC and washer/dryer in a separate cupboard that is accessed by a couple of steps. There is one double bedroom with a TV and a large en-suite shower room and WC plus one twin bedroom with zip-and-link beds (which can be made into a king on request). Outside the property is a fully enclosed private garden with table chairs and a BBQ area. The garden is accessed from the back door and captures the sun during the afternoon and evening. There are also steps leading up to grassed area with a private gate allowing access to the owners land. Guests dogs are allowed to run free over the owners fields and visitors also have use of a giant outdoor chess set. There is a fishing lake on site guests will need to bring their own rods. Ample off-road parking is provided. Need to know: 2 bedrooms 1 king, 1 twin. 1 bathroom with shower over bath and WC, 1 en suite shower room with WC. Electric oven and hob, microwave, dishwasher and fridge/freezer. Washer/dryer located in bathroom cupboard. Guests welcome to take walks though the farm.
