2 beautiful Finnish log cabins situated in a wonderful part of the North Devon countryside. Approached by a long woodland drive and nestling in picturesque woodland. Ideally situated for relaxing in extensive grounds with an abundance of wildlife. Local attractions include The Big Sheep, The Milky Way, Dartington Crystal, RHS Rosemoor Gardens,Cobbaton Combat Museum and Quince Honey Farm. Quad biking, paint ball and the Tarka Trail cycling route all nearby. The sandy beaches at Westward Ho!, Instow, Bude, Croyde, Woolacombe and Saunton are all a short drive. Golf, riding and shooting are available locally.
Leisure facilities: in the valley are 5 lakes well stocked with carp and other coarse fish available to guests.
Outside: both lodges are set in trees on the hillside and are reached by steps.
Amenities: ample parking. Bed linen, towels and central heating included. Electric by meter. Regret no pets or smoking.
Location: beach 5 miles, pub and shop 4 miles.
The more secluded of the 2 lodges offering privacy and perfect for couples and honeymooners looking for a romantic retreat. ONE bedroom: upstairs double reached by ladder stairs, the bedroom leads onto a balcony with views of the lake and woodland, perfect for the warm evenings.
Bathroom: situated downstairs with shower over bath and WC. Lounge / kitchen / diner: with electric oven, fridge, washing machine, microwave and TV.
Additional info: due to the position of the bedroom this property is unsuitable for babies.
