This charming cottage is tucked away on a rural no through lane within an easy 10 minute walk from the picturesque town of Beaminster where you will find a variety of fantastic places to eat and drink. Nearby attractions include the Beaminster Museum Pilsdon Pen (6 miles) Lewesdon Hill (4 miles) and the Jacobean Mapperton House and Gardens (2.5 miles). Heading towards the coast you can explore the bustling historic market town of Bridport (6.5 miles). Dorsets Jurassic Coast has miles of glorious beaches with West Bay (8 miles) Charmouth Beach (11.5 miles) and Chesil Beach (21 miles) all easily accessible. Enjoying a fantastic location in the Dorset Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty the cottage is ideal for visiting Yeovil Cerne Abbas and Lyme Regis (all within 15 miles). Approached via a flagstone path and a couple of steps this beautiful detached stone cottage retains plenty of original features including exposed ceiling beams and a feature fireplace in the welcoming lounge/diner. The spacious and tastefully furnished lounge also features a wood burner and plenty of comfortable seating allowing you to snuggle up with a movie on the Smart TV listen to music via the iPod dock or read a good book. Theres a delightful dining area perfect for an evening meal. Moving into the kitchen theres another dining area ideal for a snack or breakfast. The kitchen is fully equipped with an oven microwave fridge/freezer washer/dryer and dishwasher. Exploring the ground floor further theres also a delightful conservatory looking out towards the garden. Heading up the winding staircase you will find three bright and cosy bedrooms. Theres a king-size room one twin room and a cosy single room. There is also a bathroom complete with a shower over the bath and a WC. Please note there are some low doorways. Outside and reached via some steps you will find a charming garden with a lawn trees shrubs terrace and outdoor furniture making this an ideal spot to sit back and relax with a BBQ or a drink in the evening. A stream bed runs beside the house it is almost dry during summer but parents should take care with young children. A footpath leads to two more houses and then into the farmland.
