The attractive coastal village of Tongue, with its imposing stone buildings, shops and hotels, is set alongside the Kyle of Tongue, and is centrally placed for touring the beautiful Northern Highlands. The area has much to offer the visitor, from fine golf courses to outstanding fishing, some of the finest hill walking and mountaineering country in the land and the grand castle at Dunrobin, the home of the Earls of Sutherland.
