Blacksmith Cottage cottage Yorkshire Dales
Formerly a blacksmith`s workshop, this cottage is located in the heart of Grassington - one of the most popular villages in the Yorkshire Dales. This beautiful ground floor studio has been well furnished to provide elegant accommodation in a fabulous spot. This is a great location for a couple on a romantic break or for a pair of friends to enjoy the stunning scenery of North Yorkshire. Just a minute`s walk from the village centre, the cottage is well placed for local amenities and activities within the area such as those at Bolton Abbey, the Yorkshire Dales National Park and Grassington itself.
With traditional stone cottages and shops clustered around the cobbled market place, Grassington is one of the most charming villages in the Yorkshire Dales National Park and offers exceptional shopping facilities for a settlement of its size. With a monthly farmer`s market offering a mouth-watering range of organic and home-made produce from farms nearby, it`s easy for visitors to discover real, local food. This is also an excellent area for walking with the River Wharfe and extensive Grass Woods to the north offering stunning scenery as a backdrop. Bolton Abbey with its Abbey ruins, the Priory and the famous "Strid Walk" is close by and offers a number of interesting sights as does the elegant town of Ilkley, situated in the shadow of the famous Ilkley Moor.
