The market town of Frome is a mile away and has a thriving arts scene independent boutiques and a welcoming community. Situated near the Mendips walkers will be spoilt for choice with picturesque walks virtually on the doorstep. Visit the Roman City of Bath with its Georgian architecture museums thermal spa galleries shops and theatre or the stunning cathedral cities of Wells and Salisbury. National Trusts Stourhead House and Gardens is only a short drive and family attractions include Longleat Safari Park Cheddar Gorge Wookey Hole caves Chew Valley lakes and Glastonbury Tor. Step inside this single-storey property with exposed beams and vaulted ceilings into the lounge/kitchen/diner. Sit back and relax on the sofas in front of the wood burner whilst watching your favourite films on the smart TV or enjoy a lazy breakfast at the dining table. The country kitchen is well-equipped with electric aga which makes the best toast microwave fridge/freezer and dishwasher which is perfect to prepare a family meal in. From here step into the hallway to the master bedroom with double bed smart TV and en-suite wet room with shower and WC. There is also a door in the master bedroom that leads outside into a small enclosed sun-trapped courtyard with bistro seating for two. From the hallway you ll find the second light and airy king-size zip-and-link bedroom (which can be a made up as a twin on request) with a smart TV. The main wet room also has a shower and WC. Being environmentally aware the WCs both use rainwater. Heading outside from the living space you will find parking for two cars and a gravelled seating area. There is also a quirky vintage style covered seating area complete with lighting shared only with The Old Cow Shed. You can cook on the rustic BBQ and unwind with a glass of wine on one of the two picnic benches. There is also dog washing facilities and a useful shared utility room with a washing machine.
