BABIES IN ARMS ONLY & REGRET NO CHILDREN UNDER 15 YEARS OLD. SHORT BREAKS ARE CHARGED AT 90% OF THE WEEKLY COST
This charming detached former coach house, dating back to 1848, has been sympathetically renovated throughout and furnished in keeping with the building's charm, yet offering all the everyday essentials.
Located within the heart of Bodmin Moor with a wealth of walks leading straight out onto the open moorland from the property. Only minutes from the A30, which runs through the heart of Cornwall connecting East and West Cornwall, makes this the perfect base for guests looking to enjoy the wider county, from the popular attraction of Lands End, England's most westerly point, and St Michael's Mount to the surfing beaches that litter the North coast at Newquay and Watergate Bay, to the more sedate 'traditional' Cornwall on the South coast. The pretty coastal towns and villages on the North coast are well worth the short drive. Port Isaac and Padstow are approximately 20 miles. From Padstow quayside you can enjoy a bite to eat at one of the many cafes or bars including TV chef Rick Stein's bistro or restaurant. There is so much to see and do in this glorious area of North Cornwall including the National Trust property at Lanhydrock and the Lost Gardens of Heligan. For visitors who want to stay closer to home, less than 5 minutes' walk leads you to the historic Jamaica Inn, made famous by Daphne Du Maurier's novel of the same name, where you can enjoy food and a drink or two. There are also pubs that serve food within easy reach at Altarnun. Stabling: guests can take advantage of DIY livery on site, available by separate arrangement with the owner and enjoy the abundance of bridleways that take in some of the most stunning vistas.
This extremely spacious accommodation offers TWO bedrooms: 1 master double and 1 twin bedroom. Shower room: with WC.
Lounge: enjoying woodburner (logs included), flatscreen TV with DVD and Freeview. Kitchen / diner: with electric cooker and hob, dishwasher, washing machine, fridge / freezer and microwave.
Outside: guests are invited to enjoy the shared gardens, consisting of croquet lawn, maintained wooded walk and several duck lakes.
Amenities: off-road parking. Bed linen, electric, towels and central heating included. Regret no smoking within the property. 2 dogs welcome. Fly fishing available locally.
Additional info: babies in arms only, regret no children under 15 years old. Short breaks are charged at 90% of the weekly cost.
Location: beach 20 miles, shop 3 miles and pub within walking distance.
