Guests can explore the countryside on foot along the various routes that lead from the doorstep including the famous High Peak visitors centre the Cromford Canal and the High Peak trail leading to the Black Rocks and Tissington Trail. Within a short drive from the property guests will find themselves at the gate of Chatsworth House parklands and Haddon Hall. For an afternoon of exploring the pretty market town of Bakewell on the River Wye is a lovely way to spend an afternoon. Situated next to the A6 and easily accessed via the M1 motorway or the railways station of Belper Matlock or Whatstandwell this property is a great base for exploring the natural beauty of the Peak District National Park. Enter the property into the farmhouse kitchen with the main features being the stunning oil Aga and an electric Aga cooker module theres no need to worry about the washing up as there is a dishwasher to do the work for you. Head up a few more stairs to the bright and airy king-size bedroom. Across the hall there is a shower room with WC and basin.
