COSY COTTAGE IN CENTRAL VILLAGE LOCATION CLOSE TO DARTMOOR NATIONAL PARK
This cosy mid 19th century end of terraced cottage has recently been modernised to a high standard offering comfort and character in the heart of the ancient Devon town of Bovey Tracey often referred to as “The Gateway to Dartmoor”.
An ideal base for walkers, cyclists and all those wanting to explore Dartmoor. It also offers access to the “English Riviera” and to the many attractions of South Devon. Guests can enjoy a wealth of attractions and leisure activities as well as being only a stroll the village pub and shops. Chudleigh nearby also has a good selection. National Trust properties plus Canonteign Falls, Torbay, Dartmouth and Salcombe area all well worth a look.
The accommodation offers THREE bedrooms: accessed via steep cottage style stairs.1 king-size, with en-suite shower room and panoramic views of Dartmoor. 1 twin with a zip-and-link bed which can be made into a double on request and iPod dock and 1 single.
Bathroom: bath with shower over and WC. Lounge / diner: woodburner, TV / DVD and wi-fi available. Kitchen: with dishwasher, electric cooker, gas hob, fridge and microwave.
Outside: shared access utility cupboard with washing machine and freezer and lockable storage for bikes etc. Steps lead to a side pedestrian access and steps up to a terraced patio area with seating, BBQ and great views of surrounding countryside.
Amenities: parking in public car park opposite (permit provided for 1 car). Additional roadside parking can usually be found. Bed linen, towels, electricity, central heating and wi-fi included. 1 small dog welcome. Regret no smoking.
Location: pub and shops all within walking distance. Arrival: 3pm
