Offering beautiful, tranquil views over the pond and open countryside from the decked area, this delightful former miller's cottage is perfect for those requiring a peaceful holiday set in a secluded spot at the end of a lane and farm track, yet still being close to a wide variety of beaches and attractions to suit all tastes. The owners live in the adjoining property but privacy and seclusion is assured.
Explore the land and enjoy the wildlife which include wild otter, kingfisher, deer, foxes, badgers and owls. Lots to see and do nearby, visit the unique cliffside fishing village of Clovelly, or wander along the spectacular coastline at Hartland Point. Keen gardeners can take a trip to the RHS Rosemoor Gardens at Torrington or visit Dartington Crystal where you can watch glass being blown, or purchase items in their showroom. Tamar Lakes Country Park is a short drive away and offers coarse fishing, watersports, cycling and walking. In the evening, you can sit and enjoy the peace and tranquillity with a glass of wine and relax on the BBQ area or alternatively take a stroll to the village pub serving good food.
The accommodation offers ONE bedroom: accessed via open-tread stairs, with king-size with zip-and-link bed, which can be made up as a twin upon request, and TV. Shower room: with WC. Downstairs WC. Lounge / diner: lovely room with electric fire, TV and DVD. Kitchen: with cooker, fridge and microwave (washing facilities by arrangement).
Outside: private patio, BBQ area with table and chairs overlooking the large pond, use of large gardens, bike storage avaliable.
Amenities: parking for 1 car. Bed linen, electric, Wi-fi, part central and electric heating included. No smoking in the property. Regret no pets. No cot or highchair provided but you are welcome to bring your own.
