Located close to the centre of the village you are within an easy reach of an array of shops restaurants pubs and a park. Just outside the town Braunton Burrows and Crow Point offer the perfect backdrop for scenic walks. Further afield sand sea and surf can be enjoyed at Saunton Woolacombe and Croyde. Walking enthusiasts will also be spoilt for choice with the South West Coast Path taking you across spectacular headland to Baggy Point. The Tarka Trail is a cyclists haven giving easy access to the historic town of Barnstaple. Entering the cottage though the hallway you are immediately greeted with the expanse of history this property has to offer with the 300 year original front doors. You next walk into the kitchen diner were there is enough room for everyone to have an evening meal together using the lovingly chosen kitchenware. Moving into the lounge this is the perfect cosy room to sit in front of the fire after a day exploring this room offers many original features including the fireplace with bakers bread oven. Upstairs there are 3 bedrooms each capturing the properties character and individuality. The fourth bedroom is a king-size room located in the external annex it is a very funky space with original artwork adorning the walls and having a very comfortable king size bed. This room very rustic only accessible by steep steps and has no bathroom facilities - so it is best suited to those more intrepid individuals who love glamping. Step outside into the rear garden onto a lovely sheltered deck area with seating for everyone and a charcoal BBQ fire pit blankets and fairy lights. Old stone steps lead up past the annex and onto an impressive very large lawn area with orchard and little summer house. A two-man hammock and sun loungers are provided as well as a selection of outdoor games body boards a basketball hoop paddling pool and croquet for the family to enjoy. There is no parking in-front of the house but there is roadside parking (subject to availability) or several car parks (charges apply) are just a short walk from the property. This property really has something for everyone and once you have visited you will want to keep coming back for more. Need to know: 4 bedrooms 1 double, 2 singles and 1 king size (in annex). 1 bathroom. Electric oven and gas hob, microwave, coffee machine, fridge and dishwasher. Utility area in the annex with washing machine and tumble dryer. Gas fired converted wood burner (bakers oven not in use). Electric, central heating and electric heater in annexe included. Roadside parking (subject to availability or main car park (charges apply). Wi Fi included. 3 dogs welcome. Shops and pubs within walking distance, beach within a 10 minute drive. Smart TV With Netflix, DVD player, docking station in lounge. Charcoal BBQ and fire pit available. Annex accessed via external steps fourth bedroom king size please note no separate bathroom facilities. Please note due to the age of the property there are various internal steps between rooms and low beams.
