Located on the edge of the pretty village of Matfield this property is perfectly situated for exploring all that Kent has to offer with some absolutely amazing country walks perfect for dogs! Take a trip to nearby Tunbridge Wells for some retail therapy or explore the many National Trust properties in the area such as Scotney Castle or Sissighurst Castle and Gardens. Keen walkers will enjoy exploring the many local footpaths on offer that criss cross the High Weald Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty or hop in the car and take a trip down to the coast and enjoy a day out at the seaside exploring the towns of Hastings and Bexhill. The front door of this traditional cottage opens into a small hallway with space for dropping off coats and shoes before heading into the cosy split-level lounge/diner which is bursting with country charm. Comfortable sofas sit at either side of the room with a coffee table in the centre while a wood burner sits in an original fireplace. Curl up in front of the fire and catch up on your favourite TV programmes on the Smart TV with DVD player. A step leads down into the dining area where there is a dining table and seating for six. From the lounge head into the kitchen which is equipped with an electric oven and hob fridge/freezer dishwasher and microwave. Just off the kitchen area is a utility room with a washing machine and tumble dryer along with a separate WC. Stairs from the hallway head up the cottage style stairs to the first floor where you will find 2 double bedrooms both of which share the bathroom which has a shower over the bath and WC. Head outside from the kitchen into a pretty courtyard garden which is a real sun trap throughout the day. Here you will find a patio table and chairs charcoal BBQ and a hot tub perfect for relaxing in after a busy day. There is roadside parking outside the property for one car. Need to know: 2 bedrooms: 2 doubles. 1 bathroom with shower over bath and WC & separate WC. Electric oven and hob, fridge/freezer, microwave and dishwasher. Utility room with washing machine and tumble dryer. Travel cot and highchair available. Wood burner (first basket of logs included). Electric Storage heaters in lounge and bedrooms. Smart TV and DVD player in lounge. 2 dogs welcome. Enclosed garden with hot tub, garden furniture and BBQ. Please note Hot tub not to be used after 10 pm.. Roadside parking for 1 car. Please note steep stairs typical for type of property.
