Bryn Awelon cottage Wales
Bryn Awelon is a detached cottage situated in a semi-rural location, high in the hills above the village of Rhosgadfan, on the edge of the Snowdonia National Park and can sleep six people in two double bedrooms (one on the ground floor) and one adult bunks room. There is also a family bathroom on the ground floor. The rest of the property contains a kitchen, a sitting room with dining area with woodburner, and a snug. To the outside of the property there is off road parking for two cars and a front garden with patio and furniture. Bryn Awelon is ideal for families or groups of friends looking to explore all that the Snowdonia National Park has to offer.
With so much historic and cultural importance in North Wales, Caernarfon, the county town of Gwynedd, is a popular tourist spot. With an impressive 13th century castle and well preserved town walls, this is a wonderful location for history enthusiasts. During the summer season the castle runs guided tours and special events including historic pageants. Segontium, a Roman fort and museum, is home to various important finds and makes an interesting day out. Visitors can also enjoy a trip on the Welsh Highland Railway which passes through the area`s dramatic scenery, or why not arrange a fishing trip from the local harbour? With a wide selection of shops and places to eat, Caernarfon also offers close proximity to the lovely beaches of the Isle of Anglesey and the Llyn Peninsula.
