The area is famed for its spectacular beaches including Westward Ho! which is a favourite among bodyboarders and surfers offering two miles of golden sands to enjoy. Also close by are the picturesque coves and the quaint fishing villages of Clovelly Instow and Appledore. Alternatively head down the A39 and into Cornwall where you will find Bude offering a choice of beautiful beaches. Walkers are also well catered for with the South West Coast Path Tarka Trail Dartmoor and Exmoor all within each reach.
