The area boasts 180 miles of walking and cycle paths known as the Tarka Trail which meanders through some of the best scenery in the country. Family attractions in the area include The Big Sheep and The Milky Way. A little further afield is the unique village of Clovelly RHS Rosemoor and the wonderful Exmoor National Park. On entering this delightful single-storey cottage step into the lounge with arched picture window overlooking the front lawn. After a day of exploring the area sit back relax and watch your favourite TV show or the latest movie on the Smart TV/DVD. Prepare a meal or a light lunch in the kitchen equipped with electric oven and hob microwave and fridge. At the end of the day when its time to head to bed there is a triple bedroom with a double and single bed. Completing the accommodation is the bathroom with shower over bath and WC. Stepping outside you can relax in the shared BBQ area with picnic tables and garden chairs. The cottage is part of a complex of properties which share the outdoor 40ft swimming pool with seating which is heated through the main summer months (from the last May Bank Holiday week until the 1st September only). There is also a communal childrens play area with swings slides football goal posts and swing ball set. (bats and football provided) . There is also a shared utility room with coin operated commercial washing machines and tumble dryer. Surrounding the complex are 15 acres of working farmland with access to public footpaths where you can walk the dog (on lead due to cattle) or just simply admire the stunning countryside and coastline. Car parking space is allocated. Please note: Dogs must be kept on a lead at all times while on site. Need to know: 1 bedroom triple with a double and a single bed. 1 bathroom. Shared lawn area to the front of the cottage. Shared childrens play area, with swings, slides, football goal posts and swing ball set. Electric oven and hob, microwave and fridge. Shared utility room with coin operated washing machines and tumble dryer. Use of the shared heated 40ft outdoor swimming pool (from the last May Bank Holiday week until the 1st September). Electric and night storage heating included. Off road parking for 1 car. Wi Fi included. 2 dogs welcome (please keep dogs on a lead at all times). 8 other cottages on site. Shops and beach 1 mile, pub/restaurant within walking distance. Smart TV/DVD in lounge. In line with current government guidance the outdoor pool will be available on a booking/rota system. Picnic tables, BBQ area and outdoor play areas will be open (only when social distancing can be adhered to). The laundry facilities are open, but will remain locked and guests will be given access after requesting the key from the owner who will disinfect once guests are finished..
