This stylish barn nestles in this idyllic village setting, attached to the owner’s farmhouse yet privacy is assured. From the rear it has views of the 13th century Parish Church and far reaching views of the Mendips.
Walks lead literally from your doorstep up into the Mendips and beyond where guests can enjoy the array of wildlife that freely roams over this breath-taking landscape. Perfectly located to enjoy the area's must see locations from the historic spa city of Bath, with its classical architecture or the metropolitan city of Bristol with its wealth of shops and restaurants, the picturesque scenery of Cheddar Caves and Gorge and Wells, the smallest city in England, are all within easy reach and well worth a visit. Alternatively, sit back in the garden and enjoy the peace and tranquillity of this beautiful part of Somerset.
The accommodation offers TWO bedrooms: 1 double accessed via an open-tread staircase and mezzanine landing. This room is set in the eaves of the barn with Velux windows and has an extra single bed and could be used as a twin if preferred. On the ground floor, 1 twin zip-and-link, which can be made into a super king-size on request and en-suite wet room with shower and WC. This shower room is shared and can only be accessed via the twin room. Lounge / diner: open-plan with stone fireplace with open fire, double height ceiling and large picture window. Kitchen: with electric oven, induction hob, fridge and breakfast bar with stools.
Outside: enclosed lawn garden with patio area, garden furniture, BBQ and views across the paddock and beyond.
Amenities: ample off-road parking for 2 cars. Bed linen, towels, electric, central heating and Wi-Fi included. Regret no smoking inside the property. 1 dog welcome.
Additional info: a 2 course, home-cooked evening meal can be prepared and bought to the property for you and your family / friends to enjoy. 24 hours’ notice is required and there is an extra charge of approximately £12 per adult and £6 per child.
