From your doorstep you are greeted with a host of walks, such as Eggesford forest and bridle ways to explore this great walking country, with its stunning views of the rolling countryside, from the grounds. The quiet village of Burrington is a short stroll and offers village pub and a limited shop service. The main market town of Barnstaple is easily reached via a 30 minute drive and offers a wealth of shops, pubs, restaurants as well as multi-screen cinema, the Queens Theatre hosting a range of local and national productions, to name but a few. The North Devon coastline offers some of the most spectacular coastal walks and golden sandy beaches, a must for all new visitors to the area.
