Burrows End cottage Heart of England
Burrows End is a wonderful stone lodge near the village of Farlow, near Cleobury Mortimer in Shropshire. The lodge is detached and set solely across the ground floor and has one bedroom with a king-size bed, which has the option of being unzipped into two singles upon request. There is a shower room, a kitchen, a dining room and a sitting room with a double sofa bed and a woodburning stove. Outside in the English cottage garden to the back of the lodge is a lawned garden with a patio, outdoor furniture so you can enjoy alfresco dining in the summer, plus beautiful country views and a sense of peace and tranquillity. Thanks to the property`s flexible sleeping arrangements, Burrows End is perfect for both couples and friends exploring Shropshire.
The scattered village of Farlow lies amongst beautiful countryside in southern Shropshire, offering many walks and cycle routes in all directions. Just a short drive away, beneath the shadow of the mystical Clee Hills, the pretty town of Cleobury Mortimer provides a refreshing selection of shops, pubs and restaurants in an array of Georgian and Tudor architecture, along with a striking parish church with an unusual, twisted spire. The area around the Clee Hills provides excellent walking, cycling and golf, plus fishing can be enjoyed at one of the many pools in the area or on a quiet spot along the River Severn.
