Situated in the village of Burwash Weald a hamlet of Burwash in East Sussex this property is a great location for walking. It benefits from access to village amenities including a choice of country pubs and small village shops. The imposing National Trust property of Batemans home to Rudyard Kipling who wrote The Jungle Book is within a 2 mile drive and is a lovely place to spend a day enjoying the history and stunning gardens. An eight mile drive to the south will bring you to the historic town of Battle with the imposing Battle Abbey and a wide choice of shops and places to eat. A garden path leads up to this pretty cottage. On entering you will arrive in the cosy lounge with open fire large comfy sofa folding dining table and chairs and a Smart TV with DVD player.
