This self-contained ground floor Annexe is situated within a pretty country garden and benefits from easy access to walks and a plethora of heritage sites. Adjoined to the owner’s charming stone farmhouse, you can soak up the traditional country ambiance whilst privacy is assured.
Set in peaceful countryside on the edge of the Somerset levels, in the pretty village of Butleigh, there is much to see and do in the area with a choice of attractions to suit all tastes. Visit the ruins of Glastonbury Abbey, the Tor and Chalice Well or take a little retail therapy at the outlet shopping centre in nearby Street. See Wells, our smallest city and walk through the cobbled streets to the gothic Cathedral and Bishop’s Palace, or further afield to Bath with its roman baths and spa. There are several National Trust properties in the area, whilst Cheddar Gorge and Wookey Hole provide great options for more energetic explorers. In the evenings, simply relax and soak up the glorious sunsets with a glass of wine in the garden.
The comfortable accommodation is decorated in a classic, contemporary style and offers ONE bedroom: large room with queen-size bed, extra single bed made up upon request and en-suite shower room.
Lounge: cosy, with flatscreen TV with Freeview and DVD. Additional shower room with WC next to the lounge. Kitchen / diner: modern with electric oven and two-ring hob, mircowave, fridge, dishwasher, table and chairs. Regret no washing machine.
Outside: designated patio and garden, south west facing, to the front of the property with garden furniture.
