Bwthyn Celyn cottage Wales
Bwthyn Celyn is a lovely double-fronted, end-terrace cottage situated two miles from the village of Cerrigydrudion, close to both Bala and Betws-y-Coed. This cottage sleeps five people in three bedrooms, consisting of one double with basin, another double and a single, along with a ground floor shower room. The cottage also has a kitchen and a sitting room with dining area and open fire. Outside there`s off road parking 20 yards from the cottage, a front patio with seating and an enclosed rear patio with furniture. Bwthyn Celyn is a charming Snowdonia base.
The village of Cerrigydrudion is situated on the high moorlands in the county of Conwy in North Wales, located between the lakeside town of Bala and charming Betws-y-Coed. Boasting Lakes Brenig and Alwen within a few miles, this peaceful village offers superb walking, cycling and wildlife watching opportunities amidst the surrounding countryside. There is also a family-run community entertainment centre offering a coffee shop, cinema screen and internet access. The popular tourist towns of Betws-y-Coed and Bala are both within easy driving distance offering a range of interesting shops, inns and restaurants, along with a host of outdoor activities, including rafting and climbing to name just two.
