A QUIET FARMHOUSE IN A MAGNIFICENT LOCATION HIGH ON THE MOORS
This character traditional farmhouse has been refurbished to fullfill comfort yet retain many original features, spectacularly situated high upon on the moors, offers stunning views and the feeling of isolation yet is only 8 miles Huntly and Dufftown with shops and restaurants.
The Moray Firth coast is less than an hour's drive away with its sandy beaches and picturesque fishing villages, it is well worth a visit, as is Aberdeen. There is an unlimited range of splendid hill top walking routes locally and a choice of golf courses. The Whisky Trail leads round many distilleries which welcome visitors. A local and popular pub / restaurant is within walking distance.
This impressive farmhouse offers THREE bedrooms: 1 twin bedroom on the ground floor, first floor 1 double and 1 king-size.
Bathroom: with shower over bath. Shower room. Lounge / diner: with open fire (initial supply of solid fuel included) TV and DVD. Kitchen: electric oven, fridge, washing machine, dishwasher, microwave.
Outside: enclosed garden with 2 patio areas and garden furniture.
Amenities: bed linen and towels included, oil-fired central heating at additional charge. Wi-fi and payphone available. Regret no smoking. 2 small or 1 medium / large dog by arrangement.
Additional info: regret no short breaks. A security deposit of £100 is required and payable to the owner 1 week prior to arrival - which will be refunded shortly after departure. Kennel facilities available.
