It has a double bedroom with Jack-and-Jill access to the bathroom and two twin bedrooms, as well as a shower room it sleeps six people in three bedrooms. The rest of the lodge contains a first floor open-plan living area with kitchen, dining and sitting areas. To the outside there is off road parking for two cars and a first floor balcony with furniture plus an additional patio with furniture on the ground floor. There is also unlimited use of the on-site facilities. 42 Valley Lodge will suit a family or group of friends looking for a lodge with lots of things to do both on and off site.
The small village of Gunnislake lies on the steeply wooded banks of the River Tamar. It has village pubs and a small selection of shops. The area is perfect for exploring Dartmoor, the south and north coast beaches and the attractions of Cornwall`s far west. Close to hand, the Dartmoor town of Tavistock with its market, pubs and restaurants is a must, while the Donkey Sanctuary and Cotehele house and gardens are just 15 mins away. Enjoy a round of golf at St Mellion, explore the restored Victorian mining village at Morwhellam Quay, search for otters and deer along the Tamar Valley footpath or take a trip to the beach and picturesque harbour at Looe - there`s something for everyone.
