The market town of Bishops Castle is surrounded by the South West Shropshire Hills the ancient town offers a weekly market and a variety of shops pubs and places to eat. There are two breweries within the town the Three Tuns established in 1642 the oldest in the country and the Six Bells brewery. The town also has a great events calendar famed for its annual Real Ale Festival and Tandem Triathlon. Ideally placed for touring the Welsh Marches rural Shropshire and North Herefordshire and the fascinating and well-known towns of Montgomery Ludlow well known for its food festival and Shrewsbury are also within easy reach. You can enjoy the numerous nearby attractions including Powis Castle the Severn Valley Railway and walks along Shropshire Way. Enjoying an elevated location with steps to climb to the front door you will have access to the porch which is perfect for muddy boots and coats there is a shower room with shower and WC off this porch along with access into the kitchen. The kitchen/diner has been finished with a cottage style and is well-equipped to include an electric oven and hob microwave fridge/freezer dishwasher and washing machine the large windows create natural light where you can sit at the table and chairs just perfect for breakfast or an evening meal. Theres a change in level up a few steps into the lounge the original part of the cottage boasting exposed wooden beams stone work and an inglenook fire place home to the wood burner. There is a TV/DVD along with comfortable sofas and armchairs for you to sit back and relax in. there is a small table and chairs to the side. Just of the lounge is a small conservatory offering access to the gardens. So when the day is done climb the stairs to the first floor where you will find two bedrooms a twin bedroom with stunning views across the village and Clun hills and a further twin bedroom. There is also a bathroom with shower over bath and WC on this floor. Climb the stairs to the second floor where there is a double bedroom with wrought iron bed and feature fire place an armchair sits by the window where you can sit and enjoy views across to the Longmynd. Stepping outside into the gardens there is a small patio that opens onto an established garden there is garden furniture and a BBQ for you to enjoy a spot of al fresco dining. Roadside parking is available within the lane subject to availability. Need to know: 3 bedrooms 1 double and 2 twins. 1 bathroom and 1 shower room. Electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and washing machine. Wood burner (first basket of logs included). Electric and central heating included.
