However with its neutral tones warm wood and high vaulted ceilings it is light airy and spacious with a charming contemporary cottage style. Located in Rosedale (known for its daffodil walk each spring) in the North York Moors approx. 8 miles North of Kirkbymoorside there are 600 square miles of beautiful heather-covered countryside to explore by foot or by car. The National Park is also home to a wealth of market towns and villages with tearooms cafes pubs and restaurants to suit all tastes and budgets including foodies haven Helmsley (14 miles) and Pickering (16 miles). On arrival take time to admire the attractive exterior and position of this property; immediately you will notice the attention to detail. As you enter you will discover the open-plan lounge/kitchen/dining area which is a great space for socialising relaxing or tucking into the generous welcome hamper. In the corner of the lounge the wood burner is perfect for creating a cosy atmosphere on chillier evenings whilst the underfloor heating creates a comfortable warmth elsewhere in the cottage. The modern kitchen is a good size and has all the mod-cons needed to cater to your needs. Both of the bedrooms are king-size and have en-suites which makes this a great property for two couples. The decor is simple but elegant thus creating a restful atmosphere where you will find it easy to unwind. One en-suite has a bathtub to soak in at the end of a long day and the other has a walk-in shower. Outside the south-facing gardens unbridled views of the North York Moors are something special. So make the most of the garden furniture sit back with a glass of your favourite tipple and enjoy each others company whilst soaking up the spectacular panoramas. Need to know: 2 bedrooms both king size and with TVs (both accessed via stairs). 2 bathrooms both en suites one with a bath and one with a walk in shower. Underfloor heating and wood burner. Smart TV. Wi Fi included. South facing garden with lawn and gravel patio. Ample off road parking. Pub under 0.5 miles. Shop within 5 miles. Washing machine, tumble dryer. 2 dogs welcome maximum medium sized, well behaved, quiet dogs welcomed in this cottage. Pets must not be left unattended in the cottage unless they are happy to be caged (cage not provided) and are not likely to bark. We kindly request that they are not allowed in bedrooms or on the furniture.
