Church View cottage North York Moors and Coast
Church View is a detached, ground floor cottage in the village of Atwick near to Hornsea. The cottage sleeps four people and has one double bedroom and one with bunk beds plus a family shower room. Also in the cottage is an open plan living area with a kitchen and a sitting area. Outside is off road parking and a small garden with outdoor furniture. Just a short walk to the coast and with Hornsea just up the road, Church View is a lovely family holiday cottage.
Composed primarily of stone and brick built cottages, Atwick is a small, pretty village clustered around a central village green. The local pub which also serves meals - lies in the centre of the settlement, whilst the coast and numerous sandy beaches is only a 15 minute walk away. Two miles away is the attractive town of Hornsea boasting golden sands, a leisure complex, Hornsea Folk Museum and a Bird of Prey Display. A further 10 miles away is the bustling town of Bridlington offering traditional seaside attractions for all the family. For those interested in history, the cathedral city of York is also within easy reach and offers numerous shops, restaurants and museums, including the National Railway Museum.
