The islands main village of Ellenabeich is a picturesque location which has featured in several films and TV shows. The villages main attractions include the gardens of An Cala and the Scottish Slate Islands Heritage Centre. Seil also boasts a golf course and popular yacht anchorage at Phuilladobhrain and Balvicar. Back on the mainland you will be a short walk from a friendly 18th century inn and the charming seaside town of Oban is within easy reach where you can take boat trips to Mull Staffa Iona and the Treshnish Isles.
