Set in Devons unspoilt heartland Greendown Farm is surrounded by acres of gentle hills and valleys and provides the perfect holiday retreat. With a wealth of pretty villages and local pubs all within easy reach the cottages are also an easy drive to some of the varied and popular beaches on the North Devon coastline. There are many local attractions in the area such as Quince Honey Farm Dartington Crystal Rosemoor Gardens The Big Sheep Exmoor Steam Railway and Cobbatton Combat Museum. The antiques centre of South Molton is 4 miles and Barnstaples pannier market and sports facilities are 10 miles. The countryside around the farm is criss-crossed with footpaths and cycle-ways and has local access to the pretty Tarka Trail a short drive away once a single track railway which offers wonderful circular walks. Offering character and beams throughout this attractive barn conversion is deceptively spacious and entering the property you find yourself in a large porch ideal for kicking off your wellies or waking boots. The family bathroom is situated off this porch and has a stylish bath with shower attachment over and WC steps lead down to a large open plan lounge kitchen diner with wood burner (initial supply of logs included ) Relax on the comfy sofas and watch the smart TV or a DVD. The well-equipped kitchen has an electric oven and hob microwave and dishwasher and a farmhouse table which makes mealtimes a breeze. A Shared laundry room is available in adjacent barn with washing machine and tumble dryer (free of charge). Heading upstairs the staircase splits with one way leading to a galleried King with washbasin the other stairs lead to a further double room and a bunk bedded room. The half landing showcases the beautiful beams. Stepping outside there is an enclosed garden area with seating charcoal BBQ and private hot tub. Across the yard is a shared lawn with play equipment including a play area with climbing frame swings picnic table and BBQ. Off-road parking for two cars. Need to know: 3 bedrooms 1 king, 1 double and 1 bunk room. 1 bathroom with shower over bath and WC. Private hot tub. Enclosed garden with lawn, seating and charcoal BBQ. Electric oven and hob, microwave, dishwasher and fridge/freezer. Wi Fi included. Smart TV in the lounge. Shared laundry room with 2 washing machines and tumble dryer. Travel cot and highchair available on request. Separate shared play area with swing and climbing frame. 1 dog welcome. Coarse fishing is available on site, free of charge. Off road parking for 2 cars. Shop, pub, restaurant and 18 hole golf course 3 miles. From June 2021 a private hot tub will be available for use in the cottages garden. In line with government guidance the shared outside play area will be available for one cottage at a time to use. (shared between two cottages) .
