The bustling village of Bampton which was the film set for Downton Abbey is just a mile away. Just four miles away sits the historic market town of Witney offering a choice of local amenities and a bustling weekly market. Walkers and cyclists are spoilt for choice with footpaths and cycle ways leaving from the doorstep leading to the meandering River Thames which runs through open fields and picturesque Cotswold villages. With Oxford Burford and the Thames-side town of Abingdon just 12 miles away you can enjoy the best of both worlds.
