Crickhowell is a picturesque town nestling in the beautiful Usk Valley and lying to the south of the Black Mountains the eastern range of the Brecon Beacons National Park. The town offers a good mix of shops to include a baker and butcher where you can take advantage of the local produce along with restaurants and pubs. For walkers you can leave the car behind with routes that will guide you into the park onto some of the peaks to include Table Mountain. There are activity centres that offer kayaking climbing mountain biking and horse riding throughout the area. For the more easy-going guests there are some lovely market towns such as Hay-on-Wye (known as the town of books) Abergavenny and Brecon all within easy reach. Peacefully tucked away just off the bustling high street step inside to a small lobby where you can remove your boots after a day exploring the national park. From the lobby you will access the lounge; here you can relax in front of the wood burner and catch up with friend with two large sofas and a traditional rocking chair placed by the fire. A few steps will take you through to the dining area a perfect space for entertaining with a large table with chairs and a wooden bench. For those wanting to enjoy courtyard views you can snuggle into the armchair with a good book. The kitchen is to the rear of the cottage well-equipped with an electric oven and gas hob microwave fridge with ice box slimline dishwasher washing machine and tumble dryer. There is a further lobby with access to a shower room and WC with space for boots and coats. So when the day is done climb the stairs where you will find three bedrooms: a generously sized super-king-size with Smart TV a twin room and a further single room. Finally there is a shower room with a double walk-in rainfall shower and WC. Outside there is an enclosed courtyard with a table and chairs for summer dining and storage space for bikes. There is roadside parking within the town and a pay and display car park to the rear of the cottage. Need to know: 3 bedrooms 1 super king size, 1 twin and 1 single. 2 shower rooms with WC one downstairs. Electric oven and gas hob, microwave, fridge with ice box, slimline dishwasher, washing machine and tumble dryer. Wood burner (first basket of logs included). TV in lounge. Smart TV in the super king size bedroom. Wi Fi available. Pay and display car park to the rear of the cottage. 2 dogs welcome. Storage for bikes. Shops, pubs, and restaurants within walking distance.
